Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg has attacked Gordon Brown's support of the invasion of Iraq, on the day the prime minister appeared at the Chilcot inquiry into the war.

Nick Clegg told delegates at the party's Scottish Conference in Perth it was a day Mr Brown must have dreaded.
