The Conservative leader says he will change his party's candidate selection system in the wake of the MP expenses scandal.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, David Cameron said that anyone "who shares our values" would be able to put themselves forward as a Tory candidate to replace a retired MP.
He said he also wants more open primary selections, where anyone in a constituency can vote for who they want to stand as their Tory candidate.
