School 'did not care' for asthma boy

The parents of an 11-year-old boy who died after suffering an asthma attack at school, have said the school ''did not take care'' of their son.

An inquest jury ruled the school "significantly contributed" to the death of Sam Linton, 11, who was made to sit in a corridor at Offerton High, Stockport, while he struggled to breathe.

He died a few hours later in hospital on 4 December 2007.

Paul and Karen Linton said their child never even had a care plan in place in the event of an asthma attack at school.
