And now the weather - with jingles!

PM has been exploring why people do not always hear the weather for their area in a national forecast.

In the latest twist, listener Charlotte suggested playing a small jingle before the weather for each area of the country is given out.

To see how this could sound, vice president of the Royal Meteorological Society Philip Eden reads the weather - with regional jingles.
