Police searching the scene where Mr Twyman was killed
Three people from Hull have been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of security guard Stanley Twyman.

Karl Kent, 19, of Sledmore Grove, Neil Bower, 21, of Dorset Street, and Michael Gregory, 20, of Impala Way, appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Friday.

As well as murder, the three are jointly charged with robbery at Atlas Caravans, wounding security guard Malcolm Rogers and robbery at Bethune Avenue housing office.

Kent and Gregory are also charged with robbery at a garage in Kingston Road, Willerby.

Head injuries

They were all remanded in custody to appear at Hull Crown Court on 28 September for a preliminary hearing.

Mr Twyman, 61, a father-of-three, was killed while working for SPS Security at Atlas Caravans.

He died on 18 September after he and a colleague were attacked by raiders and suffered serious head injuries.

On Thursday officers from Humberside Police arrested two women in connection with the incident.

A 21-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were later released on police bail.
