Rangers striker Kenny Miller has denied a charge of driving at more than 100mph on a motorway in southern Scotland.

Miller, 30, of Musselburgh, East Lothian, was accused of committing the offence on the A74(M) near junction 17 at Lockerbie on 15 April last year.

At Annan District Court, it was alleged he drove at 111.8mph on the Glasgow to Carlisle motorway.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and the case was continued until an interim diet next month.
