Wind farm scheme gets thumbs down
Wind turbine
Officials had recommended plans should be rejected
Scottish Borders Council has rejected a major wind farm application for Berwickshire.

PM Renewables wanted to site a total of 22 turbines at Drone Hill, lying beside the A1107 linking Eyemouth to the A1.

However, residents from nearby Coldingham formed an action group to object to the proposals.

SBC's development and building control committee unanimously rejected the plans due to concerns about the location and the impact on tourism.
