A fishing boat has been badly damaged after a serious fire broke out on board while it was in Fraserburgh Harbour.

About 18 firefighters were called in to tackle the blaze on the Denebula on Thursday morning in the Aberdeenshire fishing town.

The vessel caught fire shortly after 1030 BST and firefighters using breathing apparatus extinguished it in about an hour. No-one was injured.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said the boat had been "well alight".
