Water supply affected by the cold

Freezing temperatures have frozen valves at a pumping station and affected water supplies to the Culduthel area of Inverness.

Scottish Water said properties in the IV2 postcode of the city had experienced low pressure and discoloured water.

The problem has occurred at the station near Inverness Royal Academy over the past week.

Scottish Water said it was looking at how to stop the valves from freezing.
