Company identified for Nairn site
A house builder has been identified by Highland Council as its preferred bidder for a 86 acre (35 hectare) site near Nairn.

Huntly-based Deveron Homes has offered more than 14m for the land at Sandown. The deal is subject to conditions - including planning permission.

Housing, a business park and a wetland feature are planned for the farmland either side of the A96.

Councillors will be asked to approve Deveron Homes' bid on 1 March.
