Aliens feature in spoof news for BBC School Report

The truth is out there - as students in Durham tried to find out when they turned their School Report day into a truly "out of this world" experience.

Year 7 pupils from Teesdale School And Science College produced a tongue-in-cheek bulletin for BBC School Report News Day when they reported on alien sightings in the area.

No footage of apparent aliens was recorded but the 12 pupils put in a good performance by role-playing eyewitness accounts and scientists' comments in their video report.

"Since it was Comic Relief last week, we thought we'd do a spoof bulletin," explained teacher Nicole Read. "They really loved making it and did a great job."
