Extreme weather on a school farm

The extreme winter weather in 2010 meant lessons were disrupted and many schools had to close. Hylands School in Chelmsford, Essex, has its own farm, so students and staff had no choice but to come in and look after the animals.

School Reporters investigate what effect the cold conditions had on the animals, and the causes of this dramatic winter weather.
