'The importance of flexibility'

Mike Goudey graduated from college with a degree in international relations. After a sailing trip this summer with his friend, Rob Cottrell, he coached a high school sailing team before moving to Keystone, Colorado.

"What I've learned over the past six months is the importance of flexibility," said Mike, who has held several jobs since graduation.

He is not worried about the current economic climate but is rather thankful that it forced him into discovering a new lifestyle that he would not have experienced otherwise.

Mike is still interested in international relations and politics, but for now, while racing down the slopes, he just cannot imagine sitting in an office in Washington, D.C.
