Quentin Letts on health and safety

Quentin Letts and Sir Menzies Campbell on David Cameron's speech saying that goggle-wearing conker players and scissor-free trainee hairdressers were examples of 'health and safety gone mad'.

The opposition leader promised an end to Britain's compensation culture which he said has resulted in a "stultifying blanket of bureaucracy, suspicion and fear."
