Minister: Austerity plan 'saved Greece from disaster'

The controversial austerity plan approved by the Greek government saved the country from disaster, according to the country's environment minister.

Giorgios Papaconstantinou was joined by economists Prof Costas Lapavitsas from the School of Oriental and African Studies and senior economist at Berenberg Bank Christian Schulz, in discussing the fallout from the measures on Newsnight.
