The legacy of the miners' strike

The miners' strike which began 25 years ago was a watershed moment which changed British industrial, political and economic history and paved the way for the economic model which today seems in so much trouble.

Gavin Esler is joined by the film director Ken Loach who strongly supported the miners, and Nigel Lawson who was Chancellor of the Exchequer at the time, to debate the legacy of the strike.
