Customers of some energy companies are already being warned that the cost of powering their homes will rise next month.

In December, British Gas will raise gas and electricity tariffs by an average of 7% and Scottish and Southern Energy will increase their gas prices by 9.4%.

Both providers say rising costs are to blame including a 25% increase in wholesale gas prices since the Spring.

Campaigning organisation Consumer Focus are advising energy customers that they could save up to £200 per year by changing their method of payment or tariff.

If you want to reduce fuel bills or be more energy efficient, put your queries and conundrums to Vincent Duggleby and guests.

Who is the cheapest provider in your area?

Perhaps you need help understanding your bill or the many different tariffs on offer?

Might you be eligible for a grant to help you keep your home warm?

How do you complain about an energy dispute?

Vincent Duggleby was joined by:

• Audrey Gallacher, head of energy policy, Consumer Focus

• Joe Malinowski,

• Claire Murray, Energy Saving Trust

Presenter: Vincent Duggleby
