Rubber stamps reading "Paid" and "approved"
BBC Radio 4's Money Box Live
Wednesday, 3 June 2009 at 1502 BST On Radio 4 and Online

A panel of experts answered your questions on small business finance for Money Box Live.

If the recession is making it harder to balance your budget you may be wondering what your options are.

How can you obtain grants, financial help or business advice and at what cost?

Can you negotiate with your bank if your overdraft and loan costs are increasing?

What are your options if customers are failing, or taking longer, to pay?

Perhaps you want to ask about tax rates and allowances, national insurance or VAT.

What are the pros and cons of becoming a limited company?

Maybe you have a question about running your business from home?

Whatever your question, our panel of experts were here to advise you.

Presenter Vincent Duggleby was joined by:

• Ed Harber, adviser, Business Debtline
• Stephen Alambritis, Federation of Small Businesses
• Chas Roy Chowdhury, head of taxation, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
• Peter Ibbetson, chairman, business banking at NatWest and RBS

Presenter: Vincent Duggleby
