PJ O'Rourke: General Motors should have gone bankrupt

The American conservative and satirist PJ O'Rourke tells HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur why he thinks the US car giant General Motors should not have been bailed out with taxpayers' money.

The commentator, who is widely known for his dislike of politicians, also explains why he believes US swing states played a large role in the outcome.
