King: 'Copenhagen has come too early'

Sir David King was Britain's chief scientific advisor between 2000 and 2007.

In an interview with the BBC's HARDtalk programme, he tells Stephen Sackur: "Copenhagen has come too early for a real deal," and says that US politicians are only now beginning to realise what is required to curb global warming.

The full interview with Sir David King was first broadcast on Wednesday 30 September 2009.
