Claire Berstchinger has collected an award for her work in Ethiopia.

In a HARDtalk interview on January 2nd Stephen Sackur talks to former Red Cross nurse, Claire Bertschinger.

Twenty years ago famine in Ethiopia prompted an international relief effort which culminated in Live Aid.

It was an unprecedented effort to popularise the fight against poverty.

Claire Bertschinger was intimately associated with the relief effort in Ethiopia - she was a Red Cross nurse whose struggle to save starving children captured the world's attention.

But what happens when the world moves on?
