Turning human faces into video screens and other tech news

Samsung Portugal has come up with an innovative new ad to sell one of its latest phones.

It uses projection mapping, which turns any surface into a video display screen by squeezing an image so it can fit onto irregularly shaped areas - in this case an actor's face.

In other news, the cost to Europeans of sending and receiving calls and texts and downloading data when travelling within the EU will fall from July 2012, and American senators are asking for an investigation into the legality of employers asking for Facebook passwords during job interviews.

Spencer Kelly presents these and other technology news stories.
