The new store will bring up to 80 jobs to Derry

A furniture company is to create up to 80 jobs in Londonderry, it has been announced.

Dunelm Mill, which has stores across Northern Ireland, is to open a 38,000 sq foot outlet on the Buncrana Road.

The announcement comes as a major jobs and advice fair gets under way in the city.

The store manager, Maureen McLaughlin, said the company was "looking for colleagues from assistant manager down to sales assistant".

"It feels quite good to bring something new to the city and to be able to take on so many people," she said.
