Ireland has failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the second year in a row.

Sinead Mulvey and Black Daisy, performing 'Et Cetera', were knocked out in Thursday night's semi-final.

Twenty five countries, including the United Kingdom, will compete in the final on Saturday at the Olympic Indoor Arena in Moscow.

Graham Norton will be the BBC commentator at the contest, replacing Sir Terry Wogan.

There will still be some Irish interest in the final as Denmark's entry is co-written by Boyzone star Ronan Keating.
