A body has been found by rescue services who were searching for a missing man in County Down.

The body was found in the Fairy Glen area of Kilbroney Forest Park in Rostrevor.

A police spokeswoman said the death was not thought to be suspicious.

Earlier, the police, coastguard and Mourne mountain rescue team were looking for Maurice Donaldson, 53, who had not been seen since Thursday.

A mobile police station was set up in the village to coordinate the search for Mr Donaldson.
