Asda to create 485 new jobs in NI

Asda is due to open a new store in Belfast on Friday
Supermarket chain Asda is to create 485 new jobs in Northern Ireland over the next 12 months.

The 100 jobs will be created at Asda Living when it opens at Yorkgate in Belfast on Friday.

The rest of the openings will be created at stores in Strabane and Enniskillen.

Asda NI regional operations manager Mark Pollard said: "This is a major investment which will enable Asda to provide even better service."
