Trio charged over fake goods
A large haul of counterfeit cigarettes was seized
A large haul of counterfeit DVDs and CDs was seized
Three Belfast men have appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of counterfeit CDs and DVDs in the Markets area of the city.

They are Martin Armstrong, 30, of Shaftesbury Avenue, Matthew Robert Docherty, 20, of Powerscourt Place, and Gerard Lane, 22, from Cooke Street.

They appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday.

All three were remanded on bail on condition they do not enter St George's Market.

Three houses in the Markets area were searched and two vehicles were also seized in an operation on Friday morning.
