A 41-year-old man has been charged with having a gun with intent to endanger life and having explosives in suspicious circumstances.
It is believed the charges relate to the search of a house in the Beechmount area of west Belfast following the murder of Danny McGurk on Sunday morning.
The 35-year-old father-of-six was shot dead at his home in Ross Road in the lower Falls area on Sunday, after he opened his door to gunmen.
The man is due to appear at Laganside Court on Thursday.
Two men and a woman arrested in connection with the murder were released without charge earlier on Wednesday.
