Life on a round-the-world yacht

It is nearly three weeks since 10 identical boats set off in the Clipper Round-the-World Race, and the yachts are making good headway on their first ocean crossing from France to Rio de Janeiro.

The BBC's Alison Harper is part of the amateur crew on board the Inspiring Capital Edinburgh and is sending back regular updates.

Here she gives a taste of a typical day for the clipper's crew.
