While goalkeeping remains the area of football where longevity can be sustained, it is still a rarity when someone like Cicovic breaks into the international arena when approaching his thirties.

Currently at Spanish second division side Las Palmas, Cicovic eanred his chance to go to Euro 2000 through a series of impressive performances for the Yugoslavian B side

Those displays brought him his first full cap against FYR Macedonia earlier this year and has obviously done enough to guarantee him the third goalkeeping spot in this squad.
