Slavisa Jokanovic
One of Yugoslavia's most experienced players, Slavisa Jokanovic is not quite the player he used to be, but still has the composure and intelligence to dominate play, linking the defence and midfield.
Excellent in the air and good from long range, he played a vital role in helping Yugoslavia to qualify for Euro 2000, and their 2-1 defeat to the Republic of Ireland in his absence was noted.
Jokanovic was an integral part of Tenerife's rise in the Spanish League following his move in 1995 from Real Oviedo.
He now plays for Deportivo La Coruna and, although he has recently struggled to make the first team, his experience and strength will be crucial to his country's hopes in Belgium and Holland.
