Brazil promise to give their all
Rivaldo
Rivaldo will be strutting his stuff on the Wembley stage on Saturday
England will see the real Brazil when the two sides meet in Saturday's friendly at Wembley, according to the South Americans' coach Wanderley Luxemburgo.

The match is a crucial part of England coach Kevin Keegan's Euro 2000 warm-up plans, as well as a chance for England's players to measure themselves against the world's number one ranked team.

Brazil were dominant in the second half of their 3-0 win over Wales in Cardiff on Tuesday, although the Welsh kept their highly-rated visitors in check for over an hour.

But Luxemburgo believes there is more to come from his side - especially World Player of the Year Rivaldo - when they take on Keegan's men.

"We are playing well...but since England are a better team than Wales, Brazil will be better and keep getting better as the match goes on," Luxemburgo said.

Luxemburgo insists Brazil will be taking the friendly seriously as they continue their own warm-up for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Peru on 4 June.

"I want the two wing-backs Cafu and Silvinho marking more than attacking," Luxemburgo added.

And Rivaldo himself said: "This game is all about morale, we have to keep winning to make sure we qualify for 2002.

"I have fond memories of Wembley, Barcelona beat Arsenal here this season 4-2 in the Champions League."

Rivaldo deserves to be nominated the best player in the world and he will show that on Saturday

Rivaldo also revealed that he is keen to stay at Barcelona despite speculation that he will be sold by the Spanish giants following the departure of their president Josep Luis Nunez.
