Tom Cruise to fly in for the National Movie Awards

Tom Cruise is to fly in to the UK especially for the National Movie Awards, it has been announced.

The ceremony was started by ITV in 2007 but took a break last year, thought to be due to cost-cutting.

The awards, entirely voted for by the public, will be shown live on ITV1 on 26 May.

The Twilight series of films have the most nominations with five. Cruise's new film Knight and Day is up for most anticipated summer movie.
