The full line-up is not announced until the festival starts

The last batch of tickets for this year's Glastonbury festival have sold out in just over an hour.

Cancelled and returned tickets for the event - which will be headlined by Muse, U2 and Stevie Wonder - went on sale at 0900 BST (0800 GMT).

Standard tickets, priced at £175, were all gone by 1007 BST, with the few remaining coach passes gone by 1100.

Around 178,000 fans will descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset for the festival's 40th anniversary in June.

Other acts confirmed for the event include Madness, Vampire Weekend, Ray Davies, Jackson Browne, Orbital and Hot Chip.

There were rumours that flash-in-the-pan rap star Vanilla Ice would also play, after an appearance was listed on his MySpace page - but the reference has now been removed.

Glastonbury 2010 takes place from 25-27 June.
