Sophia is voted off Big Brother

Sophia Brown
Sophia Brown was nominated by six of the housemates.

Sophia Brown has become the first official housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

The 26-year-old from Herne Hill, London, lost the public vote to Freddie Fisher, aka Halfwit. She received 91.2% of the votes for the Channel 4 show.

The banking assistant said "that's all right, that's all right" when presenter Davina McCall gave her the news.

She was seen on the highlights show rowing with Saffia Corden, who walked out on Thursday.

Asked her about her relationship with 27-year-old single mother Corden, Brown responded: "We just didn't get on".

It was the second time that she had faced the public vote.

Before the contestants became official housemates the public were given the chance to evict a "non-housemate". Then it was Londoner Beinazir Lasharie who was voted off the show.
