Pete Doherty, Nick Cave and Shane MacGowan have been lined up to sing a range of classic Disney songs at Jarvis Cocker's Meltdown festival in London.

Cocker, who put the line-up together as artistic director, will be singing The Jungle Book song I'm the King of the Swingers.

Speaking to the BBC's David Sillito, he said: "I think Disney songs were due a bit of makeover."

The week-long event will take place at the Royal Festival Hall.

The venue has recently undergone a refurbishment to improve its acoustics.
