Steve Rider regularly presents ITV's Formula One coverage
Former BBC Sport presenter Steve Rider is to front ITV1's coverage of the World Cup.

He will cover England's games against Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago in the opening round of the competition.

Rider, who replaced Des Lynam on Grandstand, left the BBC last year after presenting more than 700 editions of the sports show.

He will join ITV1's regular football hosts Gabby Logan and Jim Rosenthal for the channel's World Cup coverage.
