Actress Lohan misses own premiere
Lindsay Lohan
Lohan's other films include Freaky Friday and Mean Girls
Teen star Lindsay Lohan has flown home to the US, missing the UK premiere of her film Herbie: Fully Loaded.

The 19-year-old was meant to join her co-star Michael Keaton at the London launch of her Disney comedy.

But she left the capital last night to be with her family for the start of her mother's New York divorce proceedings.

"Lindsay Lohan has decided to leave the Herbie tour to join her mother and siblings for the start of her parents' divorce trial," said a spokeswoman.

Ms Lohan's father Michael is currently serving four years in prison on various charges, including assault and drink-driving.

Her mother and co-manager Dina is suing for divorce. In response, Mr Lohan is asking for a cut of his daughter's earnings.

Lindsay Lohan shot to fame in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap and has since appeared in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.
