Stars come out for Rolf tribute
Rolf Harris
Rolf's career has spanned art, music and presenting
A host of celebrities joined Rolf Harris on stage on Monday night at a party to celebrate his 50 years in TV.

Acts such as Girls Aloud, Big Brovaz, actress Lesley Garrett and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson paid tribute to him at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The show, which will be broadcast at a later date on BBC One, raised money for the Prince's Trust.

Harris, 73, who came to the UK from Australia in 1952, shared career memories and painted live on stage.

He also played some of his best-loved songs including Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport and Jake The Peg.

The concert featured a youth orchestra accompanied by didgeridoos and Harris' trademark wobble boards as well as a young gospel choir.

Members of the audience performed with their Stylophones - the 1960s battery-operated instrument Harris made famous.

Harris, an MBE and OBE, has presented The Rolf Harris Show, Cartoon Time and Rolf's Cartoon Club, as well as the Animal Hospital and Rolf on Art.
