Richard and Judy: final daytime appearance on ITV
TV hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan are set to say goodbye to ITV's This Morning - their screen home for the past 13 years.

The husband and wife team - who renewed their wedding vows last year - have signed a two-year deal with Channel 4 to present a chat show which will be called Richard and Judy.

The pair have dominated daytime TV with their own combination of chat, current affairs, human interest stories and interviews.

The pair: set to start on Channel 4 in the autumn
It is reported that their last appearance on This Morning is to have an "end of term" feeling, with makers of the programme paying tribute to the couple's time on the show - and a montage of their favourite moments.

Guests scheduled to appear included Des O'Connor, Boy George and Paul O'Grady, Better known as Lily Savage.

A Family Fortunes-style quiz is to be held, with Richard and Judy heading rival teams of the show's experts as they answer questions about the last 13 years of This Morning.

It is a sign of the presenters' importance to British TV that their leaving the programme is itself a significant TV event.

Channel 4's Richard and Judy is due to begin some time in the autumn.

The channel has said that the new programme is to be a "live, topical entertainment show" running five days a week.
