Body identified as missing man's

The coastguard and police dogs had joined the hunt for Mr Seaton

Police have confirmed that the body of a man found in north Cornwall was that of a missing Wiltshire man.

David Seaton's absence from his home in Amesbury had been described by police as being "out of character".

The 57-year-old pension manager was last seen by colleagues on Monday 24 August in Salisbury. His car was found in Boscastle.

Police with dogs and the coastguard had been looking for Mr Seaton in Boscastle and the surrounding area.
