New sports facility due to open
A new sports ground aimed at teenagers in Swindon is to open.

The facility adjacent to Marlowe Avenue, includes space to play football, basketball and netball as well as other sports.

It has been paid for by the South West Regional Development Agency as part of a redevelopment of the Parks and East Walcot area.

Swindon Town footballer Ashan Holgate will officially open the ground at 1900 BST on Monday.
