Plans have been submitted for a £4m visitor centre for the Severn Valley Railway in Shropshire.
It will be located at old railway sidings, just south of Highley station.
The idea of the centre is to allow visitors to examine the trains and to provide security for the engines. It has been backed by the parish council.
A classroom will also be provided for visiting schoolchildren. The line runs through picturesque countryside from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster.
