Man enters guilty plea for murder
A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of a man who was found bound, beaten and stabbed at his home on Teesside.

The body of Keith Philpott, 36, was found at Axbridge Court, Billingham, on 24 March 2005.

Michael Peart, 22, of Stockton, pleaded guilty to murder at Teesside Crown Court on Friday.

Co-accused Sean Swindon, 24, of no fixed address, faces a trial on the same charge. Peart will be sentenced following that trial.

Both men were remanded in custody by the Recorder of Middlesbrough Judge Peter Fox QC.
