A van driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a fatal crash in Sussex. A 35-year-old motorcyclist from St Leonards was killed in the accident on The Ridge West, Hastings, at 0635 BST. He was riding a Yamaha bike near the A2100 junction with Queensway when he in a crash with a Ford Transit van. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 47-year-old van driver, from St Leonards, was arrested and taken to Hastings custody centre.
