A night club has been permanently closed down after a night of violence left one man dead and three injured.
Zest has been closed following a fatal shooting last month
Jimoh Plunkett, 24, from South London, was fatally shot inside the club Zest in Ipswich on 9 December 2006. Three other men received gunshot wounds.
Ipswich Borough Council's licensing committee has now closed the club permanently by revoking its licence.
Managers from Zest declined to comment following the meeting, which was held in private.
Zest now has 21 days in which to lodge an appeal.
The Suffolk nightclub has been closed since the incident and police are keen to speak to anyone in the club at the time.
Following the incident a man was arrested for a public order offence but has since been released on bail.
The injured people included a 25-year-old man who was shot in the shoulder and legs at the club.
Two other men from Stanway, in Essex, were also treated for gunshot wounds after being injured in the incident.
