Awards are made for well-managed beaches
Four beaches in Somerset have won a prestigious award from environmental charity EnCams which puts them among the best in England.

The beaches at Berrow, Brean, Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Cove passed strict checks for clean water, public facilities and ambience.

They can now fly the EnCams flag, which shows they are well-managed.

Resort officer Graham Newing, said: "My team of beach wardens and summer lifeguards contribute to this award."
