A34 Wolvercote viaduct bridge-slide hailed a success

A project to slide a 5,000 tonne bridge into place on the A34 Wolvercote viaduct in Oxfordshire has been hailed a success by the Highways Agency.

The work was part of a £44m project to replace the bridge, built in the 1960s, with a new structure designed to last 120 years.
