Liam Munn
Mr Munn was found on the street with serious head injuries

A 19-year-old has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of another teenager outside a Nottingham nightclub.

Liam Munn, 19, from Nuthall, was found with head injuries outside Halo nightclub in Goldsmith Street early on 18 January. He later died in hospital.

Simeon Ferguson, from Montfort Crescent, Nottingham, entered a guilty plea at the start of his trial at Nottingham Crown Court.

He is due to be sentenced at the same court on 9 October.

Speaking after the case, Liam's mother, Donna Munn, said: "Liam was an ambitious young man, who enjoyed life and loved playing football.

"Sadly, Liam will never be able to fulfil his dreams and we will never see him get married or become a father."
