A 54-year-old man has appeared before magistrates in Nottinghamshire charged with murder.

Michael Sanderson, 42, from Cotgrave, died from a single stab wound at the weekend in Worksop.

John Pakulski, from Carlton Road, in Worksop, appeared before magistrates in Retford earlier.

A 37-year-old woman arrested in connection with the murder has been released without charge, Nottinghamshire Police said.
